90.1 WRPN-FM The Edge has been Ripon's very own radio station since 1961. The station broadcasts a wide variety of shows and music throughout the week that are tailor made and broadcast by Ripon students.

Finishing touches being applied to Eurydice before curtains open March 3

A unique production of the play, Eurydice, by Sarah Ruhl is coming to a stage near you Wednesday, March 3 through Saturday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Benstead Theatre, Rodman Center for the Arts. The play portrays mythology in a contemporary setting.

Eurydice falls to her death on her wedding day and is sentenced to an eternal life in the Underworld.

Forensics team makes waves at state tournament

This past weekend, Ripon College hosted and took second place at the state tournament for forensics. Six colleges from Wisconsin were in attendance, including the school to beat, the University of Wisconsin (UW) Eau Claire.

Among the other contenders were the third-place finisher UW Madison, as well as UW River Falls, Madison Area Technical College and Wisconsin Lutheran.

The Ripon College Forensics team wrapped up its busy month of tournament hosting this past weekend with a second place finish at the Wisconsin Collegiate Forensics Association state tournament held on the Ripon campus.

This is the hardest article I have written thus far. The questions which underlie the issue of abortion are very difficult-because though they cut to the core of political ideology, they are also so very personal, and hence are no longer in the abstract. Thus, I reject the notion that this is an easy issue and will do my best to properly frame the issue and articulate my opinion.

Senators reject first one fund, Springfest on the agenda

One week after seeing its first failed one-fund, Student Senate is preparing for the largest one-fund of the year later tonight (Wednesday).

Springfest, a longstanding annual event on the grounds of Ripon College hosted by the Student Media and Activities Committee (SMAC), is seeking a total of $20,000 to bring in entertainment for the event.
