Flying Hands and SMAC are sponsoring a deaf festival called "The Silent Treatment" Dec. 9 from 7-9 p.m. in Great Hall. In addition to learning sign language and other events, the festival will also sponsor a silent auction with all proceeds going to fund Paws for Cause, which provides specially trained dogs to those in need.
