Ripon College Days

The theme for this year's commencement will be Exploration. Both Steve Fosset, who has circumnavigated the globe in a balloon and an airplane, and Nobel Laureate Philip Sharp, who discovered the split gene theory, will be honored at the commencement ceremony. The Honorary Degree Committee is currently soliciting suggestions for the 2007 commencement theme and honorary degree recipients. To make a nomination, please send a brief statement of why the person nominated is relevant to the theme you have suggested to Claudia Leistikow, administrative assistant to the dean of faculty.
